SERVICE GUIDLELINES
Dear Customer,
We thank you for your business and supporting your local trash company!
Please read the following:
Customer herby gives permission to Blue Ribbon Disposal to enter Customer’s property to provide such trash service. If Customer has a gate that is normally open and is ever closed Blue Ribbon will not open gate and go onto property unless a signed release has been obtained.
Payments are due the first day of the month of your billing cycle. If payment is not received by the 15th of the month your trash service will be suspended unless you have made other arrangements to pay. We reserve the right to cancel your service for any reason.
We DO NOT pick up trash on Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. During a holiday week your trash pickup will be the next working day. We will pick up on Saturday if needed.
- Blue Ribbon Disposal CANNOT take any hazardous materials such as but not limited to batteries, tires, paints, oils, human waste, concrete, propane bottles, large metal/iron and oxygen bottles. If any of these are found in your trash we WILL NOT take them. If any hazardous materials are found after your trash is dumped there will be a $25.00 MINIMUM charge. We cannot take ANY dead animals. We cannot take ANY electronic devices, Colorado Law. Electronic Recycling Jobs Act. This includes: television sets, central processing units (CPUs), computer monitors, peripherals, printers, fax machines, laptops, notebooks, ultra books, net books, electronic tablets, digital video disc (DVD) players, video cassette recorders (VCRs), radios, stereos, video game consoles and video display devices with viewing screens greater than four inches diagonally. - CANNOT take dead animals – you must call a dead animal hauler to take any dead animals. There is a possible $1000 fine if a dead animal is discovered after we dumped the dumpster or toter into the hopper. We also will not take horse manure.
- Do not fill the dumpster with dirt, wood, remodeling or construction materials– the dumpster will not be emptied
- Please have all trash ready for pickup by 7:00am; gates open, toters at end of driveway, vehicles not blocking. At times trash may be picked up after dark
- In the event of bad weather, trash will be picked up the next week and no credit will be given as the same amount of trash will be picked up. We DO NOT pickup if the wind is over 30MPH.
- Large items such as furniture, lumber, dry wall, washer, dryers, mattresses, etc. can be removed for you. Please call our office for pricing on these services.
- Extra trash charges will be assessed if lids on trash cans, toters or dumpsters cannot be closed or there is trash outside of the receptacles. Please check our website for the list of charges.
- Any extra trash NOT in our receptacle must be bagged or it will not be taken.
- A refund will not be issued if service is canceled within the year, quarter or the month. A $24.00 return fee will be issued if the service is for a dumpster.

- Residents are billed monthly or quarterly in advance. Invoices may be prorated for a specific service period. Payments are due by the 1st of each month. Late payments or returned checks may result in additional charges to your account. Service may be interrupted after the 15th of each month when accounts are past due. There are no refunds for cancellation of service.
